Ulysse (Mouths Don’t Speak) will appear on a panel entitled “Fiction: International Stories, Shared Humanities,” alongside Adrienne Benson (The Brightest Sun) and Annabelle Kim (Tiger Pelt), discussing international disasters, resilience, and the heartbreaking impact on interwoven lives. The event will take place in Central JMRL Library.

Elizabeth Nunez – Jefferson School African American Heritage Center, Virginia Festival of the Book, Charlottesville, VA

Elizabeth Nunez (Even in Paradise) will discuss her novel, a modern recasting of Shakespeare’s King Lear, about greed, jealousy, betrayal, and romantic love in the postcolonial world of the Caribbean.
