  • FIRST 50 ORDERS INCLUDE A SIGNED PRINT OF AN ORIGINAL NICK ZINNER PHOTO

Limited Edition Contents:

  • A signed copy of 131 Different ThingsWithin the hardcover book is a novella called “Seven Bars, One Nightclub, One Loft & A Diner” by Zachary Lipez; Nick Zinner provides the visual framework for this inventive novella with his intimate photography; and the prose and photography are tied together in a playful taxonomic scheme by editor and art director Stacy Wakefield.
  • A numbered, exclusive 7″ vinyl. To set the scene for detail-oriented readers, Nick and Zack have formed a band called The Different Things to perform two songs crucial to the text. (I’m Not Your) “Steppin’ Stone,” appears on page 19 on the jukebox at Pym’s Cup Bar. It could be understood as the battle song for our hero, Sam, whose decision to take charge of his meandering life propels the story forward. “Somebody’s Gonna Get Their Head Kicked in Tonight,” appears on page 82 when Sam’s nemesis, Flannery the Skinhead, threatens to derail Sam’s quest. Flip the record back and forth as you read, and the ups and downs of Sam’s night will be soundtracked like a daisy petal–pulling game of she loves me, she loves me not.
  • Numbered in a limited edition run of 250 copies and designed by Stacy Wakefield, the 7″ comes in packaging that has been hand-printed in the punkest off-the-grid barn in California. The team has dragged their longtime collaborator Rachael Hawkwind out of retirement. Her silk-screened T-shirts and bags and patches graced merch tables all over NYC in the early 2000s. The recordings were made in a studio in Hollywood deconstructed to look like the inside of Pym’s Cup.
  • The first 50 orders include a signed print of an original Nick Zinner photograph. Each photograph is a random outtake from his personal collection of 4×6 drugstore prints.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: a few international customers report receiving error messages upon placing an order. Rest assured that if you receive an e-mail receipt/confirmation directly from PayPal, then your order has gone through successfully.
