Akashic Noir Series featured in CHESTNUT HILL LOCAL

On July 26, book columnist Hugh Gilmore featured our award-winning, long-running Noir Series at the Chestnut Hill Local, pointing out: “Here’s one good reason why fans of noir literature love it: Everywhere in the world, no matter what the Chamber of Commerce tells you, nasty doings are going on behind the gleaming monuments and welcoming billboards. Knowing that keeps us all amused and forewarned.”

Gilmore discovered our Noir Series — now spanning over 100 volumes — through Belfast Noir, edited by Adrian McKinty and Stuart Neville.

Forthcoming in our Fall 2019 season in the Akashic Noir Series are: Nairobi Noir, edited by Peter Kimani (author of Dance of the Jakaranda); Columbus Noir, edited by Andrew Welsh-Huggins; and Santa Fe Noir, edited by Santa Cruz Noir contributor Ariel Gore.
